In the context of a private competition, I am designing a small, south-facing residential home that nestles into the topography. Between the hillside and the sun deck lies the ‘Höhenweg-Pool’. A small atrium ties together the camping-style, spartan living concept. The shower, bath, WC and washbasin all have separate rooms. The house is deliberately kept small so that the terrain remains visible and leaves enough space for the plant beds and a tree in the north-west corner. The terrain itself will not change; the grass and brambles will remain untouched.
